| ANDERSON MAN SENTENCED TO 10 YEARS ON DRUG CHARGES January 9, 2009 |

(Anderson, SC). Thirty-five year old Kevin Ware of Anderson was found guilty today of Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Distribute within Proximity of a Park. The Honorable J. C. “Buddy” Nicholson sentenced Ware to 10 years on each charge to be served concurrently.
On January 15, 2007, Anderson city police officers executed a search warrant at 305 E Street where Ware had gone to sell a quantity of crack cocaine to an individual. Officers found Ware to be in possession of 2.4 grams of crack cocaine.
Ware had a prior conviction for Trafficking.
